Nossa Sra. Da Boa Viagem

In Ericeira, faith meets the sea. Every year on the third weekend of August the town celebrates the Procession in honor of Nossa Sra. Da Boa Viagem, a tradition that spans centuries and preserves the devotion of fishermen and their families. Amidst flower-filled streets and decorated boats, the sea transforms into a prayer, asking for protection and celebrating each safe return of the fishing community.
